They are ok !!!!!!!

Yacht Rhumb do made Bayona late last night after 2 Nights in bad conditions in which we lost our boat Sentito.

We have not been able to contact them as yet due to our phone with all the numbers getting water damage whilst being airlifted.

Thanks to all who helped including the Spanish Coast Guard and Carmon from Nauta Coruna in la Coruna.

Thanks again

Great to hear that very good news. Sorry you lost your boat, we lost ours in hurricane Ivan a few years ago, but lived to sail another day. The boat can be replaced but the good news is you are all ok.

Very sorry indeed to hear your news but very glad you are all safe.

You may not remember but we (Heartbeat, Sun Legende 41) were berthed in between yourselves and Rhumb Do in Cherbourg back in October (Friday 13th) and we had a brief conversation with you about Guernsey v Jersey and Angus Primrose Seeker 31s before you left to start moving westwards. I remember thinking that your Seeker seemed to be an excellent example and very well set up. We didn't get to talk with your friends from Rhumb Do but like your boat she also seemed very well sorted.

Perhaps when some kind of normal life is restored you can tell us more.

Best regards to all.

Robin

Hi Dazautomatics,

Extremely sorry to hear that Sentito had to be abandoned, but delighted you are all ok.

Like Robin, we too saw you in Cherbourg a few weeks ago when we (Meander) were at anchor in the inner harbour for a few days on the way back to Plymouth.

We send you our very best wishes and hope Sentito can be recovered.

Kindest regards

Jerry
