They were part of an organized rally perhaps from the Orwell ( Pin Mill ) area as one participant has a very nice Buchanan

I think you'll find it was the Classic Sailing Club - an interesting concept for those not familiar with it, and one which I'm sure will be (and deserves to be) successful. Certainly its fleet is growing.

I saw them rafted as I went down river on Saturday - if I'm not mistaken a clutch of them were on a single buoy (glad it wasn't mine). Their programme also says they were visiting Ramsholt at the weekend.

I don't think that the organisers can fairly be held responsible after the event for the antisocial behaviour of adults. They might be the right people to speak to at the time to curb said behaviour of course.

Absolutely. I hope the Hon Sec sorts them out. No more varnishing for a month and compulsory viewing of MoBo forum every day.

That'll learn 'em.

I'm sorry to say the noisy person was one of our party. This weekend was an annual event for a group of members. I think the chap on the SCOD doesn't get out much and was a bit squiffy. We'll remind those on trips in the future to be more respectful of other people on the river.
Incidentally I got some great video footage of a couple of Deben Seals, the most rare species.
