"Poor old petrol users" had the choice for years. I bought a diesel-engined boat two years ago when diesel was a mere 55p a litre. Now we are looking at THREE times that!! And like we make that much impression on "the environment" If cars equate to less than 1%, boats must equate to no more than 0.001%. Are we saving the planet or paying for the Olympics??? what you get for your money is top grade fuel, white diesel has a higher flash point than red so burns cleaner and engine starts are quicker as most marine diesel heaters dont like red for the reasons above usually an additive is put in the tank at £30 a bottle if i am expected to pay road prices i expect road quallity fuel
