Default Power loss.

The shore power has tripped out in the boat yard and everybody has gone home for the weekend. I've got no 12v either since my electrics are in bits. Bugger! My mobile phone is out of battery and I can't charge it. Might be an excuse to head to the pub and borrow a socket.

I'm in the Edinburgh in Wells. I've drawn a contract with the landlord. If I keep buying beer, I get to stay attached to these two plug sockets next to me.

Just on the off chance you happen to get 50 miles inland in cambridgeshire I'll put some electric credits in the pub tonight for you by buying lots of beer, unfortunately the beer will go flat so I'll have to drink it as well.

Some people will just go that extra mile!

Just been looking at your pics, you've managed to get one of both my boats at the same time!
Sold the fishing boat cos I don't fish.

The Coromandel with the yellow hull, then "Tommy" the next one downriver.

Didn't you think about that before you bought a fishing boat?

Oh heck.

There I was, sat quietly on my laptop as the pub filled up for the Friday night. It got a bit busy, and so I decided the laptop had had enough charging for one night. I sat quietly finishing my pint, but got a little bored on my own. I rang max.

"fancy a pint, I'm in the eddy?"

The next thing I remember, we're back on the boat drinking the white wine I was using to cook my whelks and cockles at 1am. I feel baaaaad, this morning.
