Smile The Rosebud - Brightlingsea

Went to Brightlingsea by sea with some friends on Saturday and had an excellent meal at the Rosebud Pub & Restaurant. About 15 mins walk from the hard, just off the High Street at Hurst Green. Not your usual Pub fare but at Pub prices. You must book in advance as it's becoming very popular! Highly recommended.
Oh and the beers good too and a view of the creek from the garden. See:- http://www.rosebudpub.co.uk/

Second that, as we had a do for ten of us the other week. The French chef is trying hard to provided restaurant-type food, with an emphasis on fish. SWMBO finished with "plum soup" which looked wonderful and my minuscule taste was lovely.
