Default Lone Voyager by Maureen Jenkins

Jenkins, M (2000) Lone Voyager: One Woman's Journey of Self-Discovery

Follows the trials and tribulations of Maureen (Mo) Jenkins through a late introduction to sailing through dinghies, then a marriage breakup, construction of a steel Spray (with numerous parallels to Slocum) and then a single-handed Trans-Atlantic sail taking over three years. Some good insights into what any of us might go through in life... gets a bit repetitive towards the end... prepare for passage, check weather, something happens weatherwise, sea sick, make port... not much else you can say after about Leg 3! But a good read nevertheless.
