Default What an incredable day.

Perfect autumn day for boating, went for short run out, must have been the warmest "winter" day in years, time to have a "unlaying up dinner" and keep on boating...?

Default What an incredible day

It was glorious I too went for a long run in the launch but returning and driving into the sun (I forgot my sunglasses) I found it most uncomfortable what with the sun being so low and reflecting off the river into my eyes.

We were out as well, was a lovely day. Saw our friends from the Chertsey squat on the way back, they are near Mapledurham at the moment with a 2nd boat in tow !

They probably heard on the grapevine how kind you are to river pikeys.

I am sure they will gladly take any old wooden benches etc to burn in their stove.....

They needn't do that. I will supply free electricity for their fan heaters also free water and even collect their rubbish and dispose of it. Indeed I will regularly collect their Porta-Potti and empty it for them. I'm sure Eileen will offer to wash their boat for them while they use our bathrooms. Of course our washing machine and dryer will be at their disposal too. Eileen will do their ironing.

I haven`t seen them come past me yet so they are probably still on the Mapledurham side of me. There are several other boats down there so they may well stay there a while.

They obviously have an old Seamaster and not a 70 foot narrow boat
