hi guys n gals VERY sorry i'm sure this has been looked at previously but i cant find it anwhere.
does any one know where in essex i could get a cockpit enclosure made at a resonable price, so far we have had silly prices. OR advice on D I Y many thanks

Mussett of Mersea have been regularly mentioned.
Suffolk Sails did a superb job on a Jeanneau 39i - http://www.jeanneau-owners2.com/id461.htm (dunno how much though - looks expensive)

There is a guy who owns a boat called Hebe in Bridgemarsh also does them 'on the side'. His look nice. Give Biff a ring at the yard for his number.

Hi Tony,

Sail and Cover in Woolverstone made our boom tent on Kioni, very fast (same day service!), good price and we were very pleased with it - 01473 780075. Nice to deal with too. I've talked to them about a sprayhood as well, the price was not too bad but not knowing your budget I don't know what your expectations are

Mussetts made our dodgers, also very satisfied with them as Jim has alluded.

The other people active here are CJ Marine but they are not local although they do a good job from what I've seen. More expensive than Sail and Cover from what I recall.
