Default In praise of Marine Super Store Port Solent

In the past there have been some less than polite remarks made about this store, references to there being no technical knowledge on hand and spotty youths being in charge and only selling clothing etc have been regular.

Well I have just bought some electronics there and I have nothing but praise for the depth of knowledge of the young man who helped me. When I entered the store I asked if someone could help with technical enquiries re: electronics and this chap stepped forward. He gave me all the time I needed and nothing was too much trouble. Result was they had the sale.

Yup good place, but I think most of the critical comment was directed at some mail order oriented outfit near Hamble with a similar name.

Even though I am based at Port Solent, if I need good advice and low pressure selling I prefer the Percy M chandlery at Fareham.

That is certainly true. Many people do of course get what they order without complications but when things go wrong there they seem to go very very wrong.

There has also been quite severe criticism of the service from Marine Superstore but recently there have been several complimentary posts about them.
They have pulled their sock up a bit perhaps.

Your referring to Marine Mega Store, I know exactly what you mean I have been lucky with deliveries with them too. No there have been disparaging comments about Marine Super Store Port Solent, as I described.

I have used Marine SUPER Store and found them excellent.
Iv'e also used Marine MEGA Store and those Twots still owe me £38.00

Almost the same name but worlds apart in the quality of service provided.

Tom

PS, I suppose this will get pulled as it's defamatory, but Hey Ho there's a first for everything.
