How do they do that, then?
Piece of advertising fell out of one the magazines announcing that the Discovery 55 is the 2004 yacht of year.
As 2004 is only 8 days old, and as the leaflet was printed in 2003, how do they know/who are they trying to fool?

Re: How do they do that, then?
Ah but in the news section they say:
..." the Discovery 55 received the Boat of the Year 2004 - Luxury Cruiser award.
This prestigious award comes from the competition run by Cruising World magazine. also ..."The Discovery 55 was also awarded SAIL magazine's "Best Boats 2004" accolade." Agreed, seems a bit 'previous'. Wouldn't mind one though!

Looks like about £700,000 depending on spec

That's alright then. I thought that they might have been expensive. I like the look of the cockpit hot tub!

Hot tub
Is that what it is? I thought the cockpit drains were blocked.

Re: Hot tub - uh-oh
Ooh this looks jolly good fun and highly self-indulgent. But I'm fairly sure that isn't allowed is it?

Re: How do they do that, then?
Spooky isn't it? I get the creeps when I look at tourist maps in the street in London and they have an arrow which says - "You are here".
How do they know that?

Re: Hot tub - uh-oh
If I closed the seacocks on my cockpit drains I could do that too.
I don't think I would look quite as decorative though

I'm sure you would not. Now I know why Angus Primrose designed in a bathplug in each corner of my cockpit.

The car industry does the same.
I'm surprised some some poxy FIAT (Fix It Again Tomorrow) hasn't already been voted European car of the year yet.
