Default Apologies for absence

A whole raft of work and family things have conspired to make it important to be in London this weekend, probably much of the time with sets of IKEA instructions failing to make sense of the piles of furniture components that will be surrounding me.

Bon voyage, and have one (or two) for me.

Ken,

Sorry to hear this, we will miss you.

Have fun with your "Sven" or "Blognut" units (or whatever it is that they are known by). I find that a glass or two of the red seems to help with the assembly.

Regards, Steve.

That's a shame.

I thought the story of your various attempts to cross the Channel last years was one of the highlights of the evening!!

Well I was convinced, absolutely convinced that Ken would confound us all and turn up with Indigo this year!

Heh! Ken, we'll miss you.

A tip for putting any flat pack stuff together.

That's a pity, especially after our unfortunate meeting of boats with Parahandy and yourself in St Malo last month.

That's a shame!" I guess you can't top lat year's entry.

At least you know what IKEA is. The first time I heard the name I thought it was a Martial Art.
