I think blue looks the bees knees and by all means go blue if you accept the faster degradation and the need to repaint every so often.
One thing I have learnt is that its not worth paying the extra for a blue gelcoat - I paid $44,000 extra on my last boat and blemishes still showed through. I would be happy with blue Awlgrip if I was taking the blue hull route.
yep acrylic paint/spray is the best choice tough difficult to understand by customers and nuyers, who mostly beleive gelcoat to be best suited for marine use
