after advice
      15/05/2008 20:19

hi all i am new to this forum and new to the boating world i have always admired and loved wooden boats or as my wife calles them real boats.
now i have found i have the time to learn to sail at last and maybe a bit eagerly have my eye on a 1960s clinker built lifting keel 22ft yaght, now she needs some work i am told a paint and varnish will see her right. so firstly any advice on what to look out for on this boat and also with regards to sailing her what is the difference between sailing an older wooden boat and a newer grp boat?
russell
