Jez,
Is it an outdrive boat?
If so it is easy as the linear motor actually operates the hydraulics on the power steering. I fitted the motor myself, which was very simple apart from the fact that I underestimated the lack of space when the engine went bback in so I had to re-fit it upside down.

Haven't done the rest yet as I still haven't got a Control Head
