Saw them going out as we were coming back into the Menai. There was quite a swell and breaking waves over the mussel banks. Not ideal conditions for a school trip.

We were opposite Plas Menai when we heard the call from the Coastguard. Headed back to Abermenai to assist if required, but the casualty was being treated on land and it was all in hand by the time we got there.

It didn't look good - but hope the boy recovers ok.
