Hm, intereresting. By setting the default browser, then all calls on urls should open in the default. However, things get screwed up, so
1 try this little utility. It will reset all the registry settings to your chosen browser. If it's not one of those listed, just choose 'other' and use auto find. If it can't autofind, 'browse' to the .exe file of your chosen browser http://www.pc-tools.net/win32/setbrowser/
if that doesn't work, then you can set the file permissions manually, to force any webpages called using your browser of choice
* Go to "Start -> Settings -> Folder Options -> File Types" and assign the following things to Mozilla (or MyIE2): o URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol o URL:Protected HyperText Transfer Protocol o URL:File Transfer Protocol o HTML File o HTM File (optional)
If using Windows XP, you go "Start -> Control Panel" first. o In your Control Panel choose "Category View", and click on "Performance and Maintenance". Then, click on "Files Types" in the left column under the heading "See Also". **** If your Control Panel uses Classic View, then go "Folder Options -> File Types". o In either case, set the above associations to Mozilla (or MyIE2).
