Day 5 Collins Stewart Boat Show
It's a grey and windy start to day five here at the Collins Stewart London Boat Show today. Even though it's a weekday, it seems the weather hasn't put off the 'genuine boater', as the industry and sales people fondly call them. There is a steady stream of visitors disembarking off the DLR bound for the show.
Yesterday Stewart and myself went around the show asking peoples opinions of the show, and the general perception of ExCeL and the new show features is good. However with some there is still a fondness for Earls Court.
Last night it was the Motor Boat of the Year Awards 2007 held at The Savoy, a fantastic evening but no doubt there are some sore heads among the industry at the show today. Look out for the winners in our February issue coming later this month.
