LateSail Ltd launches ‘Name your price’ and links with leading overseas agents

A new feature on the LateSail Web site is ‘Name your price’. The page invites charterers to specify where they want to charter a boat, the size, dates and the price they are prepared to pay for the charter.

Roger Garnett, Chairman of LateSail, said “the success of the first months in operation has encouraged us to look at adding further value to our offer. The trend is for companies to place more control in the hands of the consumer, allowing them to have a say in how much they pay for goods and services. Our clients know the market and what they want. We know many charter boats sit on the quay earning nothing. This service matches the two sides.”

LateSail has also linked with the premier German agent Scansail Yachts of Hamburg.

Roger Garnett said “since we launched have taken bookings from around the world including mainland Europe and the USA. Our tie up with Scansail is the first step in our global expansion, enabling us to offer a truly local and personal service, under the global LateSail brand. Expansion from Europe into America is the next natural progression and we are actively seeking a US agent at this time.”
