Sunseeker announces direct supplier contract agreement with Raymarine

Two of the marine industry’s best-known global brands have combined forces with the announcement of a direct supplier contract agreement. Sunseeker, the Poole-based yacht manufacturer, has announced that it has signed an approved supplier agreement with Raymarine to install electronics on its range of luxury powerboats. Raymarine, which is headquartered in Portsmouth, is recognised as the world leader in marine electronics, with a comprehensive range of integrated systems, including instrumentation, navigation equipment, autopilots, radar systems and communication products.

The agreement means that Raymarine will now supply product direct to Sunseeker, which has a turnover of £200 million and supplies and sells powerboats, ranging from 35 foot to 121 foot in length, throughout the world. The company will be utilising its world class supply chain planning, logistics support and manufacturing delivery procedures to ensure prompt lineside delivery at Poole, where all Sunseeker boats are fitted out.

Andy Davies, UK Sales Manager for Raymarine said: “We are delighted to formalise this agreement to supply Sunseeker direct. Our E Series multifunction displays are now the product of choice on the majority of Sunseeker vessels. Sunseeker customers have the final decision on the choice of marine electronics, and we are delighted to have achieved approved supplier status with Sunseeker, which is a worldwide brand with enormous global strength.”
