Mariner’s unrivalled reputation for durability and reliability

The range encompasses three technologies, two-stroke, four-stroke,
and OptiMax, each with different Mariner benefits.
Mariner 4-strokes
The whispering Mariner four-strokes include engines from 4hp to 225hp.
New for 2003 is the 225hp EFI four-stroke outboard which joins the
existing Mariner line-up.
The 225hp has the same characteristics as other Mariner four-strokes,
smooth, quiet and clean in operation, but with the addition of electronic
fuel injection, traditional horsepower limitations have been shattered.
A Mariner four-stroke will provide you with all the smooth, economical
power you want for real fun on the water, day in and day out.
Mariner Optimax
For breathtaking acceleration and top-end performance, the Mariner
OptiMax V6 outboards have changed all the rules. OptiMax engines are
proving to be the most reliable, efficient and thoroughly-engineered
marine engines of all time. A new technology direct injection fuel
system has provided a way to burn the petrol more completely than
ever before, resulting in outstanding economies and emissions reductions.
Mariner 2-strokes
Mariner’s highly popular EFI and naturally aspirated two-strokes
from 2.5hp to 250hp, from single cylinder portables to the big capacity,
high performing V6’s are ideal companions at work and at play
on the water.
The perfect power for every Quicksilver aluminium and inflatable boat
is a reliable Mariner 2-stroke or 4-stroke outboard engine. Depending
on the size of the boat you can fit up to 40hp of power to an aluminium
boat and up to 30hp to an inflatable.
Whether your boating pleasure comes from a relaxing day’s fishing,
cruising around the bay, shooting out on offshore expeditions or enjoying
your favourite watersports, these versatile Mariners will prove their
