Based on the NMEA award winning transceiver, the M801E will be available in two versions. The IC-M801E with Class E DSC operation will be available for non-SOLAS vessels. The IC-M801GMDSS for Class A DSC operation for SOLAS regulated vessels.

MF/HF Marine Transceiver
The IC-M801GMDSS is a complete GMDSS package, which includes automatic antenna tuner, telephone handset and external speaker. The package meets GMDSS and MED 96/98/EC, “wheel mark” requirements for SOLAS regulated vessels.


Icom IC-M802
MF/HF Marine SSB Transceiver
The IC-M802 SSB transceiver is for customers who operate or sail under a non EU flag. It's a marine SSB which includes Digital Selective Calling for automated ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore messaging. It doubles as a powerful MF/HF radio transceiver and triples as an e-mail conduit for wireless computer-to-computer connections.
