Special installation kits mean that heating systems can now be fitted to almost any boat. The idea of ‘plug and heat’ is being applied to all water stations so that you get one unit that is easier to install and saves space.
The small water units that heat the on-board hot water system, typically consisting of radiators and fan-powered heat exchangers, come ready-made and include a cable tree, metering pump and timer. A direct output connects to the boiler for service water supply if needed.
For those requiring more hot water, large water stations are available with outputs of 11.6kW and 23kW. These also come pre-assembled and have a fuel filter, fuel tap and 230v circulation pump, as well as a 30-litre resevoir. Both operating unit and 10-metre operating cable are delivered with the stations.
