Webasto Marine Comfort exhibits at METS
Webasto, the leading German manufacturer for high quality climate solutions, presents first class marine heating, air conditioning and roof solutions at this year's METS taking place from November 13th to 15th in Amsterdam.
Visitors can experience Webasto's air conditioning range BlueCool beginning with self contained systems to split air systems and going to the widest BTU range of chiller systems. Moreover Webasto also shows its BlueHeat heating solutions consisting of economic air heaters and powerful water heaters as well as a new innovative generation of the air heater Air Top Evo including its innovative control panel. This control unit gives the user access to two additional operation modes eco for power saving and boost for quick cabin heating.
A working display of the popular BlueComfort Premium, an integrated heating and cooling solution, is one of Webasto's highlights in Amsterdam. Depending on the desired cabin temperatures, the system runs automatically in heating or cooling mode and for outstanding ease of use, BlueComfort Premium can be controlled by one single control panel.
After successful years combining water heaters with chiller air conditioning systems, Webasto now conquers the market also with a combination of a self contained A/C and a water heater. This system, BlueComfort Classic, provides customers with a cosy comfort climate at the push of a button by compact dimensions and with little installation effort. The possible combination of the heating and the cooling provides the user with unequalled air dehumidification performance.
In cooperation with Naviop, the market leader in Marine Network Systems, Webasto has teamed up and developed a breaking comfort control system, the BlueComfort ControlPad that provides one central interface for the complete Webasto climate system on board. The user-friendly interface is equipped with an intuitive touch-screen panel and gives easy access to all system information. In order to allow user specific practicability, the interface has three programme modes: end-user mode for simple control of the air conditioning system, read out mode for quick diagnosis and service, and programme mode for the installer to allow system set-ups and alterations.
On the roof side, Webasto has further developed its Marine sliding roof range with a flush-integrated version of its Hollandia Marine SR1. The flush integration provides the opportunity to bring the deck at the same level as the sliding panel. Furthermore, the rear rails are located completely to the side of the roof. Last but not least, with the flush-integration, Webasto offers a smooth automotive style mechanism and more flexible design opportunities for the boat builders.
Webasto Marine Comfort brings automotive OE know-how to the marine industry. The portfolio is technologically advanced and known for its reliability and robustness. Addressing heating, cooling, light and fresh air on board, Webasto provides solutions for comfortable climate all year around, aboard of any vessel.
Webasto is located in hall 2, stand 101.
