Flying gybe
How's that for cool?
This photo montage by the great Thierry Martinez is of US sailor Bora Gulari performing a new manoeuvre, the 'flying gybe', in the Bladerider Moth in Dubai last week.
As you can see, Gulari never dropped off the foils, and went through the gybe at 16-18 knots in 12 knots of true wind. Great stuff.
Lots more shots on Thierry's site.
