All-year-round care for grey water tanks
Grey water tanks should be treated in a similar way to the waste holding tank. Check the hose connections for tightness and that the inspection hatch seal is sound.
Flush tank with a proprietary tank cleaner and leave empty over the winter period. If the pump is mounted internally then it would be worth removing if possible and removing any build-up from the body and impellor. Any switching device should also be checked for any build-up of limescale, fat, hair or solids and removed if necessary.
