Fastnet Race
British yachtsman Weston Martyr was the man behind the creation of the Fastnet Race. The first race took place in 1925 and was won by Jolie Brise in 1925. The biennial offshore race is organised by the Royal Ocean Racing Club, it starts in Cowes and finishes in Plymouth
