One day, one island, one race – one of the biggest events on the sailing calendar! The annual Round The Island Race sees 1,900 yachts and 12,000 sailors battling it out in a dash around the Isle of Wight.
Attracting competitors from as far afield as the USA, the race now ranks as one of the largest yacht races in the world – so popular 2012 entries are now sold out!
Our fleet of 42 identically matched Sunsail F40s will be in the thick of the action, offering beginners and serious sailors the chance to taste the thrill of racing from the sharp end. The Sunsail F40’s are entered into their own class to provide you with the opportunity to participate in competitive match racing at its very best.
You can register for the 2013 Round the Island Race from 2nd July 2012 with full boat packages available or you can choose to join a yacht as crew. Choose from a full boat package or join a yacht as crew for the experience of a lifetime on this truly unique event!
