In 2006, life long sailor, Liz Clark ditched her job as a bartender in California and began an epic voyage to sail around the world on her Cal-40, Swell.
Her only crew since 2013 has been her beloved rescue cat, Amelia. The 34-year-old skipper says Amelia, also known as Tropicat, has adapted well to life on the high seas.
So far, Clark has sailed along the western coast of Mexico, Central America and the South Pacific
