The Golum, where Brugmans and Aalders hid the cocaine

Hendrik Brugmans and Raymond Aalders were sentenced to more than 34 years in prison after admitting carrying nearly a tonne of cocaine across the Atlantic in their yacht.

Border Force officers intercepted the yacht off the Kent coast and took it to Dover. The Force’s deep rummage team found 1,200 kilos of cocaine, over a tonne, stashed on board of the yacht, called Golem. Two Dutch nationals have been arrested and charged with drug traffic offences. Elaine Game,…
