One crew suffered facial injuries when the yacht ran aground

The Swan yacht Tenacity had gone hard aground on rocks at Rubha Fionn-aird in the Lunn of Lorne.

One person suffered facial injuries when the yacht hit the rocks.

The tide was ebbing, so the RNLI lifeboat waited to ensure the yacht was stable in low water.

As the tide began to rise, the lifeboat returned and established a tow using her own ‘daughter boat’.

The yacht was taking on water, but her pumps were coping.

She was escorted into Oban Marina on the Island of Kerrera and hauled out later that night.
