This new line of #3181 to #3184 125 mm stainless steel blocks is a marriage of artful design and high performance. Hand-polished stainless steel sideplates are the trademark of these beautiful blocks, but the secret to their strength and performance lies inside the sheave and bearing systems. Sheaves feature a low-friction composite sleeve bearing for management of extreme radial loads. Side-load ball bearings handle unfair leads and allow sheaves to spin easily at low loads.

“We had numerous requests from sailors to design an intermediate block sized between 100 mm and 150 mm”, said Dan Rondeau, new products manager. The 125 mm is ideal for mainsheets and spinnaker sheets, as well as mastbase blocks. The durable stainless construction requires minimal upkeep and is easy to service.”

Block details include low-profile screw adapters and stainless-on stainless construction for easy service. Sheaves on the footblocks can be removed without unbolting the block from the deck. Blocks with headposts feature a lockoff set screw, allowing the sailor to orient the block in 90-degree increments or release to let it swivel freely.
