“We are pleased with this next generation of performance deck shoes. We’ve incorporated toe protection bonded to a double-layer mesh with a durable coarse exterior and a comfortable mesh lining into the HydroFlux shoe,” comments Heidi Harken, Sailing Gear Development Manager. “The result is a shoe that’s lightweight and cool, but still gives you the support, comfort, and protection you need to sail safely.”

Other features of Harken’s HydroFlux shoe include Harken’s radial traction zone soles with full 360-degree siping pattern. This pattern placed under the three main pressure zones of the foot give each area independent traction. Another key design feature of the HydroFlux is the distinction between men’s and women’s patterns, sizing, and fit. “Women and men have different foot structures and this was an important design priority when developing this shoe,” Heidi said.

Women’s HydroFlux is available in Sea Sprite, while men’s HydroFlux is available in Carbon and Spindrift colors.
