Micro Cam-Matic® II?Quick, Easy Cleating

Pewaukee, WI?Harken Yacht Equipment introduces the next generation of Micro Cam-Matic cleats with the Micro Cam-Matic II. This new cleat features taller pawls that help drive line further into the cleat for increased holding power and fast, easy cleating. Use Micro Cam-Matic II’s to secure mainsheets, travelers, cunninghams, downhauls, and most other sail controls.

“Olympic sailors drove this project,” said Peter Harken, company president. “But we not only want our Olympic sailors, but all our customers to have the highest level of confidence in their equipment. By lengthening the pawls on the Micro Cam-Matic II, we have given sailors the confidence to set it with the greatest of ease and forget it.”

Other features of the new design include V-shaped cam horns to guide line for easy entry and ball bearing cams that allow line to be snapped down, engaged quickly and held in place, even under static load.

Micro Cam-Matic II’s are available with fairleads, wire fairleads and X-Treme Angle fairleads. Other accessories include adapter plates, wedge kits, risers, bases and color-coded cam caps.
