Volvo Ocean winner, Franck Cammas became the first person to round Cape Horn in a foiling catamaran in 2015. Now a film has been released. Watch it in full here!

One of the most successful French sailors in the world, Franck Cammas made history in November 2015, when he rounded Cape Horn in a foiling catamaran.

As part of the Julbo Sail Session, Cammas rounded Cape Horn in a Nacra F20 Carbon FCS accompanied by German novice sailor, Johannes Wiebel.

They were sailing in 15 knots of wind with 2.5 metre waves.

This includes the arrival of the crew members and the dissembled boat, inspection by the Chilean military, a visit to a small school in Puerto Toro, the southernmost village in the world, and the crew waiting for the weather to improve to start tackling the journey.

There is also stunning footage as Cammas and Wiebel round the cape.
