Abersoch RNLI volunteers were called out to rescue a stricken vessel for the first time in 2017 in a joint rescue alongside Pwllheli RNLI
The 42-foot yacht, which became stuck on a beach groyne at Happisburg in north Norfolk, has now begun to break up.
The group were rescued by a cargo vessel with the assistance of The Royal Thai Navy after being adrift at sea for five days.
The incident took pace during Poole's RNLI recruitment day.
