A look inside the new MCY 105 – winner of ‘most innovative’ yacht award at Cannes
Take a look inside the new MCY 105, recently named the ‘most innovative’ yacht at Cannes Yachting Festival.
There was good news for the Italian craftsman at Monte Carlo Yachts at the recent Cannes Yachting Festival, as the new MCY 105 was named the ‘most innovative’ yacht in the 80 to 120-foot category.
Monte Carlo Yachts president Carla Demaria and managing director Fabrizio Iarrera received the award at a ceremony in Promenade de la Croisette.
“We have worked together with our designers Carlo Nuvolari and Dan Lenard to create something that is quite simply excellent,” say Demaria. “In many ways it went beyond the trends and fads of fashion and luxury to become an instant classic of the future and we’re proud that the Invictus Yachts Trophies panel has recognised our work with this prestigious distinction.”
MCY 105 is 32 metres in length and can reach a maximum speed of up to 27 knots. It is the largest in the MCY collection. There is a copious amount of interior space and a large Portuguese deck at the bow, while the ergonomic Raised Pilot House gives maximum comfort to the master cabin – located on the main deck – that features full beam and full-size windows.
The MCY 105 is currently on show at the Genoa International Boat Show (30 September – 05 October 2015).
