No Man’s Fort transformed into luxury hotel
Built to protect Portsmouth from Napoleon III, No Man's Fort has been given a new lease of life as a luxury venue
The hotly anticipated opening of the second of three forts owned by AmaZing Venues is now taking bookings for day trips, guests and overnight stays.
Built between 1867 and 1880 to protect Portsmouth from Napoleon III, No Man’s Fort is the larger sister venue to Spitbank Fort which opened in 2012 and soon established itself as the party venue of choice for discerning guests.
After changing hands several times over the years, Clarenco purchased the property in March 2012 with the intention of turning it into a luxury hotel.
The exciting developments include two helicopter pads for private use, a nightclub, laser tag, games rooms, snooker room, meeting space, rooftop hot-pool, glass-floored lighthouse, gallery restaurant, wine bar and spa facilities with signature sea salt treatments where the salt is sourced from just five metres away.
