It has just been announced that Ben Ainslie is one of the first athletes selected to be part of Team GB for the 2012 London Olympic Games.

It makes Ainslie the only athlete competing in London for a fourth Olympic gold at consecutive Games. If he wins gold, he’ll become the most successful sailor ever.

“I can think of no one in any sport you would put your money on more than Ben,” said Iain Percy, Double Olympic gold medallist. “He is the hardest worked I know, he’s a real machine on the training side and the old cliché is true; the harder you train, the better you do.”
