Bering 70 launch announced – take a look at our gallery
Exciting news for Bering fans, the Bering 70 steel yacht is nearly ready to debut.
The new model is intended for extensive coastal cruising and can carry a whopping 1,000 gallons of fuel, enabling her to cruise for 2,500 miles.
This stylish motor yacht has a reverse-raked bow that, Bering assure us, means there is less reserve buoyancy to create lift when making contact with an approaching wave.
This should lead to the hull slicing through the waves rather than riding over them, leading to a smoother ride.
Preliminary sea trials will take place from 14 – 19 September in Antalya, Turkey.
Bering 70 is expected to be completed in November.
