MetManager, a system by UK-based company ChartCo, that sends weather predictions to boats via satellite has just announced that it service is available worldwide and provides up-to-the-minute weather forecasts for anywhere in the world ChartCo Ltd. claims that its user-friendly system can be accessed by pleasure craft equipped to receive Inmarsat A or B satellite communications. MetManager provides constantly updated color-coded graphics, showing weather systems and wave conditions that allow the receiver to visually plot the safest passage. While for those who prefer to be told where to go, a routing service is also available.

In addition to the weather forecasting service, ChartCo also offer the service of sending regular chart updates to your boat via Inmarsat.
