Boats on way to rescue school bus caught in flood in Yorkshire
Firefighters are currently on a rescue mission to free people trapped in the flood waters.
Boats and firefighters have been called to help 30 people trapped in a school bus stuck in the flood waters near York.
Emergency crews are carrying out the operation in the Newton-on-Ouse and Tollerton area.
The North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service tweeted: “Fire crews have now assisted the occupants of the bus at Newton-on-Ouse on to another bus.”
It is unclear whether the 30 passengers are adults or children.
