Canalway Cavalcade opens in London on Saturday
London plays host to a free waterways festival this Bank Holiday weekend when the Canalway Cavalcade opens on Saturday.
Organisers expect 150 boats to join the festival, which will be held at Little Venice on Regent’s canal.
The programme of events includes a pageant of boats, a boat handling competition, a range of children’s activities and a real ale bar. The event is organised by the Inland Waterways and will close at 5pm on Monday 7th May.
