Marine industry exhibitors will gather on Weymouth’s Custom Quay this weekend for MarineEx, part of Weymouth’s Spirit of the Sea festival. New and used boats for sale, new product launches, the RNLI and MCA will be amongst the attractions, as well as demonstrations on fire, first aid and safety at sea.

New for 2008 is an enlarged pontoon area for on water exhibits and boat demonstrations.

The event runs on Saturday and Sunday and admission is free.

Spirit of the Sea is a week long celebration of all things maritime and includes a seafood festival and carnival procession, as well as music and racing events in and around Weymouth and Portland.
