This weekends weather

SATURDAY: A very deep area of low pressure is expected to become centred to the west of Scotland on Saturday. Associated fronts will swing east and north through the British Isles. It is going to be a stormy day with gales or severe gales in many places. There will be plenty of cloud around and frequent outbreaks of rain. Most of this through the west, and then sweeping eastwards during the day.

SUNDAY: Low pressure continues to dominate as the windy weekend continues. A strong west to south west flow will persist through the country. There will be showers in the morning, heaviest in the north. Cloud and rain will push in from the west through the afternoon, this becoming heavy at times. Winds will be SW F6-8 becoming F9-10 in the west in the afternoon.
