The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are going head to head in a dragon boat race as part of their tour of Canada.

The couple are racing opposing teams
across a lake in the Canadian province of Prince Edward Island.

They’ll compete with teams of locals after
William shows off his RAF flying skills in a helicopter search and rescue
demonstration.

After the winner is congratulated they’ll
be welcomed to the island by First Nations people and take part in a
traditional ‘smudging’ ceremony called Mi’kmaq.

The couple arrived in Charlottetown on the
Atlantic coast as part of their trip around the commonwealth country.

It all comes after they visited three
cities in three days, most recently the French-speaking city of Quebec.
