Pictures: Sunseeker to launch new 131 Yacht at London Boat Show 2016

The 40m yacht will be the largest model ever to make its debut in London.

Sunseeker International is bringing a behemoth to the London Boat Show.

The new 131 Yacht is the first of three large Sunseeker models set for launch in early 2016, and it will be joined by seven of the builder’s other boats at the illustrious show.

The 131 model’s standard layout sleeps ten passengers in five cabins, although Sunseeker’s bespoke design service allows the yacht to accommodate up to 12, depending on the design selected by the buyer. An onboard garage holds a tender of up to 6.0m in length with room for two personal watercraft. Windows spanning the Master Stateroom, Saloon and Upper Saloon make the boat’s interior bright and relaxed.

Based on the Sunseeker deep V hull design, the large tri-deck 131 Yacht has an extended cruising range of 1,500 nautical miles when operating at 10 knots, and boasts a top speed of 23 knots. Build time for each new 131 Yacht is around one year, and the company has capacity for up to five of the yachts to be under construction simultaneously.

The London Boat Show runs from 8^th to 17^th January 2016 at ExCeL London exhibition centre.
