The German ‘Love Boat’ will dock at Canary Wharf and transform into a floating hotel for tourists visiting the London 2012 Olympics.

MS Deutschland will
charge up to £4,366 per person for a three-night stay on board the 178-metre
Art-Deco style vessel.

She can accommodate 581 passengers, who will enjoy luxuries
such as steam baths, shuffleboard, putting green, driving range and sun
loungers, the Evening Standard reports.

MS Deutschland will dock at West India Docks. The berth was
chosen because it’s near Olympic venues as well as the Docklands Museum, which
will become the ‘German Haus’ – a hub for the German Olympic team as well as a
VIP hospitality centre.

The boat is already well known in Germany, as she featured
in a long running TV series called ‘The Dream Ship’, and it’s expected this
popularity will drive demand for a stay on MS Deutschland during the London
2012 Olympics.

Previously she offered Olympic accommodation during the
Athens Games in Greece.
