Dogs, police, helicopters and firemen join forces to find a large cruiser in Norwich

A huge search party involving Norfolk police and fire crews scoured a river in Norwich following the theft of a motor boat.

An Aqua Fibre 33 cruiser went missing near Kingfisher Cruises at around 6pm on Tuesday.

In hunting for the missing vessel, police employed the use of a
helicopter and specialist Broadsbeat officers and dog unit to scan the
river Yare.

Additionally, four firefighters with the use of head torches and lamps launched an inflatable dinghy from River Green.

The 33ft cruiser was recovered along the Yare at Postwick. The police enquiry is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
