Marlow Ropes, the UK based manufacture of specialist ropes, has appointed Mark Dowland Marine as its new Marlow distributor for the UK.

During the end of 2001 Marlow Ropes and Mark Dowland Marine finalised an arrangement for Mark Dowland to distribute Marlow’s growing range of products.

Marlow says it sees this as a positive move towards increasing its market share from the extensive number of retailers and trade customers that Mark Dowland has in place and in turn Marlow complement the existing range of products currently distributed by Mark Dowland Marine.

Marlow has also made personnel changes with the promotion of Mark Rowe to UK sales executive. Rowe has been working with Marlow ropes for seven years and worked in the technical centre as well as the sales office and been one of the main points of contact for customers on the south coast for the past couple of years.
