Product preview of marine electronics at the fourth Jersey Boat Show

Visitors to the Barclays Wealth Jersey Boat Show over the first May Bank Holiday weekend will have the opportunity to preview the latest range of marine electronics from leading UK-based manufacturer, Raymarine.

Stocked with a full product range, the Raymarine exhibition trailer will be in attendance and manned by Raymarine’s team of product experts, who will be available throughout the event to offer advice to both existing and potential customers.

Taking place 30th April – 2nd May 2011, the Jersey Boat Show is now in its fourth year. A rich diversity of leisure boating interests are represented at the show, as Sarah Brooke, Raymarine UK Sales and Marketing Executive, explains; “The Jersey Boat Show brings sail and powerboats of all sizes together, so this is an ideal showcase for the wide range of marine electronics that Raymarine offers; from chartplotters to autopilots to our latest T-Series Thermal Night Vision Cameras engineered with FLIR technology which allow boaters to navigate in the dark.

“Visitors will be able to see Raymarine products installed on a number of boats, including Sunseeker and Southerly, as well as at the Raymarine stand. Raymarine is very much looking forward to attending this show once again this year.”

Around 30,000 visitors attended the show last year, and the organisers, Jersey Harbours, anticipate that the 2011 show will attract similar numbers.

With a busy schedule of on the water based activities, interactive events and live entertainment, plus free entry for locals and islanders alike, the show is renowned for its lively festival atmosphere and celebration of maritime culture.
